  • Shuts itself off when the tank is full. No spills, no smell on your hands
  • Easy on backs, shoulders and hands. Nothing to lift, tilt or squeeze

An older man in his garage doorway on a snowy morning, his snowblower being fuelled from a can on the floor

Snow day shouldn't start with a sore back.

You still like clearing the driveway yourself. It's hoisting a 30-lb gas can over the snowblower in the cold that got old. EasyFill takes that part off your hands, and fills the mower come spring.

How it works

Why pouring got so hard, and why pumping fixes it.

Since 2009, US gas cans come without the old vent cap and with a spring-loaded spout. So every fill-up takes three things at once:

Lift

A full 5-gallon can holds about 30 lb of gasoline, held out at arm's length.

Tilt

With no vent, it glugs and splashes, so you fight it to keep the flow steady.

Squeeze

The spring spout needs a firm grip the whole time you pour.

The pump on a gas can on the garage floor, hose running into a snowblower

EasyFill skips all three. The can never leaves the ground.

1

A small battery pump sits on top of the can and pushes fuel up through a 52-inch hose. Your arms don't carry the weight; the motor does.

2

A sensor in the nozzle feels the fuel rise and switches the pump off at full, so there's nothing to watch and nothing to wipe up.

3

One press to start instead of a squeeze you have to hold. Gentle on stiff or arthritic hands.

Set up in a minute. Fill in three steps.

Screwing the pump head onto the can spout1

Screw it on the can

Pick the adapter that fits your can's thread.

Nozzle pushed all the way into the fuel filler, clip hooked on the rim2

Clip the nozzle in

Push it all the way in and hook the clip on the rim. Both hands free.

Pressing the green ON button on top of the pump3

Press ON. It stops itself.

Full tank, pump off. Lift the nozzle above the can, done.

Made for every fill-up you do yourself.

Top up the car or ATV from a can

  • No holding a can up at the filler
  • Works with gas and diesel
  • Packs into the trunk
★★★★☆

“Works great, I use it to transfer gasoline from the jerrycan to the car. Better than using a hand pump.”

Verified buyer · Netherlands

Times are estimates. Rated flow is 3.8 gal/min; one owner timed about 5 gallons in 3½ minutes.

EasyFill vs. the old way

EasyFill pump
  • Can stays on the ground
  • One button, no grip strength
  • Stops by itself at full
  • Hands stay clean
  • Reaches up into boats and trucks
Spout can or siphon
  • Lift ~30 lb to tank height
  • Squeeze a spout or pump a bulb
  • Watch it, and still overflow
  • Gas on hands and shoes
  • Climb up with a full can
A traditional corded fuel transfer pump with battery clamps and a heavy hoseTraditional corded pump

Why cordless wins

  • No cords or clamps. Runs on 4 AA batteries, no outlet or car battery needed.
  • Nothing to charge. Pop in fresh AAs and go (batteries not included).
  • Easy to carry. Sits right on the can instead of a bulky motor and hoses.

The details that make it easy.

Three can adapters

Fits most US cans

3 adapters (1.8, 2.3, 2.5 in). The can's opening must be at least 1.3 in. Not sure? Email us your can's brand and size and we'll check.

Nozzle with auto-stop sensor

Auto-stop sensor

Cuts the pump when fuel reaches the nozzle tip. No overflow down the mower.

The battery cover slides fully off, like a TV remote, to show four AA batteries

Cordless, 4 × AA

The red cover slides fully off, like a TV remote. No outlet needed; works with 2 AA in a pinch. Batteries not included.

Fueling a motor boat from the dock

52-inch hose

Fuel the boat from the dock, or a truck from the ground. The can never leaves the dock.

An older woman looking down at her lawn mower while the pump refuels it from a can on the grass
Why Homevale exists

For people who'd rather keep doing it themselves.

It started in a cold garage. Someone we love had run his own snowblower for thirty winters, and the one chore he dreaded was hoisting a full gas can over the machine. We tried funnels that spilled, spouts that glugged and siphons that never quite worked. What we wanted was something that did the lifting without taking the job away from him. A small pump that shuts itself off at full was it. Homevale is how we pass that along to anyone who'd rather keep doing it themselves.

Questions

Is it hard to set up?

No. Put in 4 AA batteries, screw the pump onto your can with the adapter that fits, clip the nozzle into the tank and press ON. Most people are done in about a minute.

Will it fit my gas can?

The can opening needs to be at least 1.3 in (3.3 cm) wide, and the 3 adapters fit 1.8, 2.3 and 2.5 in threads. Some small or European cans won’t fit. Email us your can’s brand and size if you’re unsure.

Is it safe with gasoline?

It’s made for gasoline, diesel and kerosene. Always refuel outdoors with the engine off and cool, away from flames. Never refuel a running generator.

How fast is it?

Rated at 3.8 gal/min. Real-world speed depends on hose height and batteries; one owner timed about 5 gallons in 3½ minutes, so a typical mower tank takes around 2 minutes.

How do I stop it from siphoning after I turn it off?

Owner tip: when you press OFF, lift the nozzle above the level of the can so fuel can’t keep flowing on its own.

Are batteries included?

No. It takes 4 AA batteries (2 will work in a pinch). Keep spares indoors in winter, since cold drains AA batteries.

What do bundles include?

Buy 2 or 3 pumps and you save on each one, plus free shipping protection: if your package is lost, stolen or damaged in transit, we send a free replacement.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are processed in 1–3 business days and usually arrive in 6–12 business days in the US. You’ll get a tracking number by email, and you can follow it on our Track your order page.

What if I don’t like it?

You have 30 days from delivery to return it for a full refund. Email us at contact@homevale.store with your order number and we’ll send the return instructions. See our refund policy.
